History
Nestled on the pristine shores of the Sussex coast, our beachside café is a true gem for both locals and visitors seeking a slice of paradise. Open daily, except Christmas Day, from 9:00am to 4:00pm, we offer a carefully curated culinary experience that captures the essence of coastal living.
The building itself is a testament to thoughtful design and environmental responsibility. Completed in 2019, it received the prestigious Sussex Heritage Award in 2021. The judge's words resonate with our commitment to excellence, describing it as "a beautifully executed project unconstrained by financial limits. Superb! Outstanding choice of materials, including local re-used materials/features. First-class entry with great attention to fitting in with the environment."
For the early risers, breakfast is a delightful affair served from 9:00am to 11:00am. Whether you're craving a hearty morning meal or a light and healthy option, our menu has something to satisfy every palate. As the sun climbs higher in the sky, we transition seamlessly into lunch service, available from 12:00pm to 3:30pm.
From October to April we are also able to offer selection of fine wines and a choice of locally brewed beers.
But our beach destination is not just about the café; it's a one-stop coastal haven. Adjacent to the café, you'll find a charming shop stocked with beach essentials, making your seaside visit even more enjoyable.
And if you're in the mood for a quick treat or a cold drink, our takeaway window is at your service.
From April to September, we take things up a notch with the arrival of external concession units. These units add an extra layer of culinary excitement to your beach experience, offering a range of mouth-watering takeaway hot food options.
