Proposed visuals of the West Wittering Beach Safety & Facilities Hub with landscaping
We are delighted to announce that the West Wittering Beach Safety & Facilities Hub gained planning approval last Friday. The new facility will replace the current lifeguard headquarters and public toilet block.
The new state of the art building will provide an elevated lifeguard viewpoint where our team will be able to watch over the extent of the beach. It will feature all new public facilities - with 50% more toilets, 100% more showers, a medical suite, full disabled/changing places unit, and a management centre for the operations and safety team.
We are pleased to be able to invest in improving beach safety and visitor experience, with the new building scheduled to be completed Summer 2024.
